James is a Toronto-based artist focused on urban environments and their occupants, often combining them with unique perspective, light, and timing to create extraordinary images within otherwise mundane scenes. Honing his skills by photographing his friends skateboarding in the late-2000s, he has worked with an abundance of North American brands and publications for over a decade. James enrolled in Ryerson University’s Image Arts program in 2011 and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2015. Since then, James has been pointing cameras at buildings, world records, skateboarding, and everything in-between for a broad range of clients. He would be happy to discuss your project to see how he can help.
